Quality Welsh Ponies & Large Part-Breds

Welsh ponies and large part-breds, bred for type, temperament and movement with the ability and conformation to perform and excel in all disciplines. Ponies from this stud have been exported to Canada, Sweden, France, Denmark, Holland and Belgium.

We are situated in Red Kite country near the Ogofau Roman goldmines, halfway between Llandovery and Lampeter and about an hour from Builth Wells. Our 120 acre organic farm runs down to the River Cothi on which we have fishing

The Cwrtycadno Endurance Cup, winner announced in November, presented by Ms Megan Lewis. It will go to the Welsh part-bred horse accumulating the most points in endurance rides across the country this season. The points system will be based on mileage completed plus bonus points for awards in set speed rides and places (down to 10th in 100 mile classes) achieved in gated or 'race' rides. To qualify horses must be registered as Welsh part-bred (i.e. with a minimum of 25% Welsh blood), 5 years of age, and over 14.2hh. Participation is free of charge

We usually have a selection of homebred stock for sale each year of all ages.
